- TABS - Allows you to select the TAB value ASCII-PRINT will use
- when it encounters an embedded TAB character in your text file.
- ASCII-PRINT allows you to turn off TABS using this option.
- BREAKS - You can Enable or Disable imbedded PAGE BREAK characters.
- You can also select forced page breaks every --- lines.
- MARGIN - Select One Inch margins for 3-Hole punch, or no margins.
- SIDES - One-Side or Both-Sides of page printing.
- HEADER - Edit, disable, enable the way your HEADER LINE will print.
- Edit your BOOKLET COVER title and 6-lines of information.
- BORDER - Choose from 6 border styles for your printout.
- SETUPS - Save & Recall different setups from diskette.
- COPIES - Choose the number of copies of each page from 1-99.
- OTHER - You may turn page-numbering and page-shadowing on or off.
- EXTRA - PRINT WEEKLY CALENDARS, GRAPH PAPER, and MUSIC PAPER.
- PRINTER- Select PRINTER MODEL, PORT and SIZE OF PAPER.
- COLORS - You can select your favorite screen colors here.

- ======== PAGE BREAKS SELECTION ========
- USE page breaks: [default]
- Some ASCII TEXT files have IMBEDDED PAGE BREAK CHARACTERS
- within the text. You can identify them, because they look
- like this --> character.
- They are created with a CNTRL+L keystroke. Ascii code 12.
- This command tells the printer to stop printing this page
- and go on to the next page.

- IGNORE page breaks:
- If you want this program not to use these commands, and to
- print maximum text lines to the paper.

- CUSTOM page breaks:
- You may enter a number from 55-125. This number will set
- the page size. Embedded page breaks will be ignored.

- ======== TAB SELECTION MENU ========
- Select TAB values to match the text file you are printing.
- TABs cause spaces to be inserted into the printed document
- until the column number divided by the TAB amount has a
- remainder of ZERO. ( this is called a MODULUS ).
- Example: if you are at column 5 and TAB = 8 when a TAB char
- is found, SPACES will be inserted in columns 5,6,7,8 before
- the next character is printed.

- Experiment with this option to achieve the best looking
- printed results. You will get used to TABS.

- PAGE NUMBERING - Default is ON.
- When ON the page number is printed to the UPPER-LEFT of
- each square on the paper.
- PAGE SHADOWING - Default is ON.

- PORTRAIT: Prints the selected week in 7 rows format.

- You may add a ONE INCH MARGIN to your documents.
- In PORTRAIT MODE, a LEFT margin is created.

- ONE SIDE PRINT - Your document will be printed only on the
- front side of the paper. The back side will be blank.

- BOTH SIDED PRINT - The first printing pass will do all of the
- document front side printing, then PAUSES for you to
- turn the paper over and put it back into the printer, and
- continues to print the back sides of the document.

- DUPLEXING PRINTERS - The program will automatically print on
- both sides of each page if you select BOTH SIDES PRINT and
- the DUPLEXING PRINTER option ( in the printer setup menu ).

- ======== SELECT PRINTER FEED TYPE & PAPER SIZE ==========
- AUTOMATIC - The printer feeds paper from the automatic feed portion
- of your paper tray. You just have to make sure that there
- is enough paper in the tray, as usual.
- You must have purchased the proper tray for any paper
- size you select in AUTOMATIC FEED.
- MANUAL FEED - Feed paper by hand into the laser printer.

- NOTE: MANUAL FEED WILL PRINT ANY PAPER SIZE WHEN YOU FEED
- THE PAPER IN BY HAND. EXAMPLE: LETTER TRAY can MANUAL
- feed LEGAL PAPER without buying the LEGAL size tray!
